“Book your regulars well in advance.”

To avoid disappointment for customers and to ensure therapists Adrienne and Chloe are efficiently booked, bookings are taken as early as August for the month of December.

Justin also recommends making sure the pre-ordering is done well in advance, especially for limited edition Christmas items that many cosmetic brands release annually. The exclusivity and easiness of these limited edition items and packs make for ideal gifts, have them pre-wrapped at the counter to throw in as an add on as customers check out. Similarly, gift vouchers are an invaluable gift idea during the Christmas season. Not only do they make for easy yet special gifts, but as the recipients bring in their vouchers they also ensure that the team stay busy during the quieter months of January and February.

However, Justin’s number one tip for the Christmas season is to remember, thank and reward your most valuable clients. Whether they are VIPs, big spenders, vocal people in the community, or just your favourite regulars, a gift on their last booking before Christmas is a sure way to ensure their return in the New Year. For the team at Beauty Pod, the gift of choice is usually something sourced from outside the store and comes with a personalised hand written note, making it that much more special for the client.
