12 Tips of Christmas: Supreme Coffee

Coffee Supreme is an independent specialty coffee roaster. They’re not only trying to change the world by perfecting the art of coffee, but also strive for sustainable practices within their sourcing and importing processes. The team at Supreme source their coffee by visiting countries where the beans are grown, sharing food and a few beers with suppliers, and swapping experiences and ideas. They discuss everything from farm management practices to social standards, ensuring that only coffee of the best quality, in every sense, is imported. With a Supreme Coffee, this integrity and enthusiasm for sustainability translates back into the end product: every brew comes with a personality, a story, a culture, and a place behind it.

As Christmas approaches, the generosity and community-focus that is central to the Supreme name is extended to the local community of their Australian and New Zealand stores. Supreme’s Ben Crawford spoke to us about how he takes the Christmas spirit one step further:

Xmas Tip #9:
“Hold a Christmas party for your customers.”

“Just as many businesses hold Christmas parties for their staff, we hold them for our customers. We put a day aside to do something out of the ordinary for our regular customers at each of our locations to make their day special,” says Ben.

“It’s our way of saying thanks for their support. We create some unique branding for the event, release a new coffee and try to be as generous as we can.”
