Make new friends and learn heaps at Auckland’s first Retailers Meetup.

Hosted by Andrew Howson at Sitka, his beautiful apparel store in Newmarket, the Retailers Meetup is a chance for you to get to know other great Auckland retailers and learn some new tricks of the retail trade over a bite to eat and a drink or two.

What the meetup is all about.

We’ll have delicious food, provided by our very own Vend customers; Gourmet Foodbox and Bluebells Cakery. Mulled wine, cold beer, and no sales pitches in sight. Just three very savvy Auckland store owners sharing their top tips for maximising sales in the slow season, followed by a Q&A session (and of course more wine, beer, and tasty food).

You’ll hear from:

  • Meetup host, Andrew Howson from Sitka, who has built a large and very loyal community of customers around his surf and apparel shop.
  • Simon Pound from Ingrid Starnes, who was twice on the Metro Best of Auckland list for fashion retail.
  • Rose Hope, co-owner of Bread and Butter, the thriving boutique vintage clothing, craft and design store who only stocks New Zealand made goods or businesses.

Event details.
