Retail Success round-up

In retail it pays to talk to other retailers, to share information and tips + tricks to succeed, because often there is an easier way, if only you’d known.

To help share hard-won knowledge, we spoke to a range of fashion retailers that use Vend to find out how they succeed in retail.

We then partnered with media that our customers turn to for inspiration and information, to share their stories.

And so… Ta- da! Here are the four stories so far in the #RetailSuccess series.

Murray Crane talked about finding and keeping great staff.

twenty-seven names about opening their first retail store after being a wholesaler.

Juliette Hogan talked to us about managing growth from one store to – two, an online store and a separate workroom.

Ingrid Starnes about using Vend and how that works with her online store.

We’ve also collected these stories together here, at a special page for fashion retailers.

Retailers, like fashion boutiques, that are owner-operated, with one or two outlets and perhaps an online store that is a shop window as well as an additional sales channel, are one of the main types of Vend user. We have a wealth of experience with this set-up, and lots of people that you can talk to if this sounds like your business.

If you’d like to know more, do get in touch -we’d love to help you enjoy retail success.

P.S. We are always excited to feature your stories. If you have a tip for retail success, or an especially golden nugget of knowledge that could help an independent retailer, perhaps one you wish you’d known, please do let us know.  simon@vendhq.com.
