Good data is key to running a successful modern business, especially for retailers. One of the most important pieces of feedback we’ve gotten from you, our awesome retailers, is the need for more reporting tools to help you make smarter decisions about your store. Well, we’re excited to announce that in 2015 we’re completely revamping Reporting in Vend (think of it as Reporting 2.0), and we want you to have a sneak peek at what’s coming!

Build your own reports with filters

With Reporting 2.0, you can ask questions of your sales data like you’ve never been able to before. Create your own reports by using filters, and find the trends and insights that are important to you easily and intuitively. Filters include Brand, Category, Customer, User, Supplier, Outlet, and Product – and by using a combination of one or more of these filters you can find out almost anything you need to about your business.

Get an instant snapshot of how your store is performing on any giving day, and see how it compares to your weekly trend. The dashboard now also includes gross profit, average basket size, and the value of discounts.

Reporting 2.0 is speedy! We’ve made some massive leaps in the technology we’re using to build Reporting 2.0, and everything is engineered to be much faster and provide our retailers with an intuitive experience.

Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM) data

Get incredible insights into your best customers, and see how often they’re buying from your store, and how much they’re spending on average throughout the year.

 

Right now Reporting 2.0 is in beta, which means we’re still building, experimenting, and improving it with direct feedback from retailers in the beta program. We’ve got a few more features to implement that we think retailers will find useful before we launch it publicly, but would love to get your feedback on the direction we’re taking.
