Make sure your website is holiday-centric. You still have time to schedule some Thanksgiving, Christmas, or holiday-themed banners for your site and social media accounts!
Another option is to create special gift sections or categories such as “For Her” or “Gifts Under $50.” Too late to update your site? Even an email promotion including suggested gifts could entice people to come into your store before the end of the holidays.
Check out this example from Macy’s. Last year, the retailer created gift-centric categories for its holiday guide to make it easy for customers to shop for presents.
Whether you’re selling online or not, upping your online presence around the holidays can really help drive business. Customers are shopping more at this time of year, so it’s a great time for you to share more on social media. Let your customers know what’s going on in your store through your Facebook and Instagram pages.
