We are stoked to welcome Sharad Mohan to our top executive team. Sharad will lead and manage the global customer success teams as Chief Customer Officer.
With thousands of small and independent retailers using Vend, this addition is all about making sure customer success stays at the absolute heart of everything we do as we grow.

Sharad brings more than 10 years of experience in leading global customer-success teams. Before joining Vend, Sharad spent the best bit of three years at HootSuite as Director of Customer Success delivering customer loyalty and service to its nine million users. In his new role, he’s responsible for helping customers know all the cool things they can achieve with Vend, so they can ultimately expand their operations across new channels, and open new storefronts.

Says Vaughan Rowsell, CEO of Vend. “We’re thrilled to welcome Sharad to our team as someone who shares our values and our focus on the success of new and existing customers. Sharad was essential in building the renowned customer success program that serviced HootSuite’s nine million customers, and I am confident that his experience will be instrumental to Vend’s next phase of growth.”

“For a company like Vend, customer success is more than customer support; it is an opportunity to help small businesses and independent retailers grow and thrive,” said Sharad. “I’m excited to join a company that clearly puts its customers first, enabling independent retailers to take full advantage of their business operations. I look forward to working with the Vend team and all our customers”.

There are some very exciting things on the way, building on Vend University and the Help Centre, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
