Hi Venders! Wow, what a busy couple of months it’s been here at Vend. This month, we were excited to introduce not only our brand new navigation and look, but also our entirely revamped Vend Reporting. Check out what’s new in Vend this month.
Feature: Vend Reporting
With the new Vend Reporting, you get all the analytics tools you need to understand your business and make the right decisions to achieve retail success. It’s customizable and flexible. Build your own reports using a wide range of variables, and use filters to get exactly the information you need. Quickly and easily dive into your sales data to see how your physical and online stores are performing, what products are making you the most money, who your top-selling salespeople are, find your best customers, identify any problem areas that can be improved, and much more.
You’ll find the new Vend Reporting under “Reporting” in the new menu, but all your other important links are in the same place. The older version of our Reporting suite has been removed, but you can run the same reports that you’re used to in new Reporting. Check out this handy guide to see how.
Just a reminder, the trial for the Retail Dashboard also comes to an end on the 31st of May for anyone not on an Advanced or Multi-Outlet plan. If you’re not an Advanced or Multi-Outlet retailer, you can upgrade at anytime to get access to the Retail Dashboard.
You’re invited to join the beta of Register, our completely reimagined web sell screen which lays the foundation for exciting new features coming out over the next few weeks, including Gift Cards, Store Credit, and Cash Management!
Register is in beta, so there are some important features (such as Quick Keys, Loyalty and integrated payments) that we need to add. You’ll still have access to the current sell screen, but this is a great opportunity to take a look at the direction we’re taking to improve your point of sale, and try it for yourself.
You can get to Register (beta) by hitting the “Register” link in the new app switcher in your menu.
Update: Vend Ecommerce
The trial for Vend Ecommerce will end on the 31st of May. If you’re on an Advanced or Multi-Outlet plan, you don’t have to worry about a thing – Vend Ecommerce is already included in your plan at no extra cost. If you’re not on the Advanced or Multi-Outlet plans, you’ll need to upgrade to keep using Vend Ecommerce.
We’ve got a special offer for all our customers to help you get your Vend Ecommerce store started. Get 30% off all theme purchases when you buy a design from our Theme Store when you use the coupon code SUPERVEND. But hurry, this offer is only valid until the 31st of May, 2015.
Feature: iPad Receipt Templates
You’ve been asking for it, so we’ve made it happen! From the 10th of June, you’ll be able sync your receipt templates from the Vend web app to the Vend Register iPad app. This means you can control all your receipts from your admin account, and you can now print logos and custom footer information using the iPad app.
You’ll need to add a receipt template to your Vend account in order to use this new feature, and your current iPad receipt template will be removed. We recommend you do this before the 10th of June, here’s a Help Center article showing you how.
Update: Vend Register – You can now set the iPad to remain awake whilst Register is idle.
Bugfix – Fixed an issue where lay-by or on-account sales were reverting to a regular sale after the customer details pop-up was closed.
If you have any questions, or need any help, don’t forget that we’re only a click away.
