What’s New in Vend – May

Price book export and import

Vend retailers can now export their price books as spreadsheets (CSV files) directly from their dashboards. The new export option can be found on the page of the price book retailers wish want to export (Products > Price books).

This feature useful for retailers who want to edit their price books inside of a spreadsheet editor (such as Excel) or want to clone a price book and make changes to it.

QuickBooks Online (US Only)

The QuickBooks Add-On is in the final stages of beta testing, and we’re opening it up to all of our US customers. If you’ve been waiting for this, your time has come.

Get started with QuickBooks today by logging into your Vend account, and heading to the Setup > Add Ons page. If you need any help, check out this handy little guide for setting up Vend + QuickBooks Online.

Errored sales handling

We’ve made the steps for resolving sale errors simpler and more informative. Retailers with sales errors are given the option to retry, delete, or contact our Support team from inside of the app – the last option includes diagnostic information which helps our team resolve problems much faster.

iPad App refund bug

We’ve fixed an issue where payments made inside of the Vend iPad App couldn’t be refunded from the sales detail page.
