What’s new in Vend: October

We’ve reached the end of the spooky season, but it’s only just beginning with the ramp up to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas! Luckily, we’ve got some exciting updates to get things into gear.

See what’s new in Vend this month.

Vend + Commonwealth Bank of Australia We’re thrilled to announce that Australian retailers using CommBank’s Albert will now be able to connect directly to Vend — on iPad, Mac or PC — for a best-in-class POS and payments solution. Offer faster, more secure transactions, and create a memorable experience for your customers. Find out more.

Square payments integration available to retailers in Canada Retailers in Canada can now use Square payments to accept any way customers wish to pay in-store, and give shoppers a seamless checkout experience they’ll love. The integration is already available to retailers in the UK, USA, Australia and Japan. Find out more.

A faster way to switch users — switching users at the Sell screen is now even speedier! When you view or create a user in Vend, they will now have their own unique printable barcode. Now at the Sell screen, users can simply scan-to-switch instead of clicking through to their user profile!

Note: Any existing password settings will remain in place — the barcodes only speed up the process of user selection.

Refresh to adding products in Vend adding a product in Vend is now even smoother! This is just the start of improvements to how retailers manage and edit individual products in Vend. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
