What’s new in Vend: September

Gift receipts if a shopper is purchasing a gift for someone else, you can now issue a gift receipt so it can be returned, and don’t forget – you can keep them coming back with Store Credit! A gift receipt excludes any payment or loyalty information. Find out more.



Advanced user permissions you now have even more control over what your employees can see and do in Vend. Customize user roles to align with your store processes, keep your most sensitive information hidden and secure, and set up new users fast. Here’s how you can use them to get your store in top shape for the holidays.



Coming soon: Accept payments with Square  we’re joining forces with Square to bring you world-class retail payments. Accept integrated payments in the UK and Ireland without switching banks  we’re pleased to announce our partnership with Payment Express, a new integrated payment solution for Vend customers in the UK and Ireland.

Payment Express links Vend with all major UK banks, allowing you to accept payments without switching banks or changing your existing processing rates. Payment Express also works with leading global payment processor First Data Merchant Services, where Vend customers can benefit from preferential rates.

Whether you’re using Vend on iPad or on a Mac or PC, Payment Express lets you accept payments in a variety of ways on a wide range of new generation Ingenico terminals, no matter if your shoppers want to swipe, tap, use a chip card or even pay with mobile wallets like Apple Pay. If you’re using Vend Ecommerce, you’ll also be able to accept payments via Payment Express.
